Montecito Farm
Kitties

Meet the seven kitties of Montecito Farm.

Orange Guy

ORANGE GUY is the old man of Montecito Farm. He is about 17 years old and the veteran of many cat adventures. He lived with us in Albuquerque until we moved to the farm in 1991, and he is currently enjoying his retirement.

Okie

We were watching as Okie was born in the bottom drawer of a chest of drawers in a closet at our house on Aliso St. on March 12, 1988. Her mother was the late Little Girl, and her daddy is probably Orange Guy. She is a pleasantly plump lap-warmer, and also a mighty hunter.

Spotte'

SPOTTE'(pronounced Spot-TAY) was rescued from a treatment facility in 1993. She was a frightened, traumatized cat when we got her, but now she is as loving and sweet as can be. Her ears were amputated due to severe sunburn and infection before we got her, and we can't even picture her any other way.

Cat Appropriate

This web page is appropriate for cats of all ages.

Seymour

SEYMOUR was a nameless kitten at the beginning of Mickey and Linda's relationship in April of 1987 and was one of the five kitties who made the move to Montecito Farm. He is by far the smartest kitty.

Boobez

BOOBEZ(pronounced BOO-Bayz)was rescued from the pound for Christmas of 1987. He is almost 14, but he still runs around like a crazy kitten. He is not the brightest of kitties.

Slim

Also known as "Slimmie" and "Slimbabwe," SLIM is the baby of the Montecito family. Slimmie was a starving homeless kitty who moved in on us in the Fall of 1998. Her coloring is identical to Okie's but their difference in weight makes it easy to tell them apart. She is a most talkative kitty and likes to voice her opinion on a variety of subjects.

Evil Morris

Don't let his cute looks fool you. EVIL MORRIS moved into our family in the early 90's. He had a bad kittenhood, which is why he is so evil, but we love him anyway.
